ponteineptique

As far as I know, it did not change on mine (6400)

/u/ponteineptique has a different version of TV

I am on 43PUT6401 and Marshmallow, and I can install anything I want, including TerrariumTV and Mobdro. I think my Tv is closer to yours, so shouldn't be a problem. Also I always could do this since I got it when it was still on Lollipop.

Even if there's no setting you should be able to sideload over adb if it has it

OT: How does the TV behaves? I have an old 55PUS7909/12 and it's crappy, the OS restarts randomly, it turns on itself showing green flickering screen, audio often is missing, in 4k@60fps I get a green strip on the right of the screen and stuff like that. (I tried to get it repaired several times without luck).

Is the situation better?
