It's pretty much flawless on the Shield TV.
Unfortunately, it needs to be force closed daily on Sony Bravia and Mi Box.
All Android TV devices are not treated equally.
I rarely have issues. Using a Shield TV and don't experience what you are experiencing. Maybe a crash occasionally.
I didn't really have many issues on my x850c Sony, however I switched to PS Vue for other reasons.
Yeah, mine would lock up too. I switched to a Roku and it's a lot better.
Worse on chromecast.
Zero issues with Sling on my Mi Box. Works great!
