Prevent ATV/ShieldTV from removing geolocked apps?

Specific to Shield TV version 6.0.

I have for the past 4 months been using VUDU without issue on my Nvidia Shield TV. Since updating to Shield Experience 6.0, the VUDU app keeps being removed. I have all location settings off.

This did not happen once until the update. I am in the UK.

I have other geolocked apps, which have not been removed (FandangoNow).

Vudu works once I reinstall it, but as soon as I restart the shield or leave it for an extended period of time, it disappears again.

I notice VUDU is listed as a system app, not a downloaded app on my shield too. Not sure why.

Any ideas? Gen 1 16GB Nvidia Shield TV on experience 6.0, UK based.

It is a system app in 6.0, that's why you can't control it. The system controls it.

You can try going into the settings and changing your language to "English US". From what I understand, that will stop the system disabling system apps like Vudu. If you use GA, this should also improve that experience as well.
