Cetus Play and Mi Box

Question

I've been using cetus play with my other s905 android boxes running custom android tv os rom and it works flawlessly. But I cant seem to make it work with the mi box. The mouse pointer moves but its not responding with my clicks. Even the D-pad is not working.

It says in the description that it works with the mi box.

You need to ne be rooted for the mouse clicks to work

Yeah doesn't work for me either. I suggest getting mouse toggle, and using fk manager with Dropbox for sideloading apks.
