So I've got the mi box and a Samsung sound bar, and they work great, but I would like to set the mi box to send volume commands to my Logitech harmony, so I can change the sound bars volume.

Buy a sideclick remote attachment.
Why not just use the sound bar's volume on your Harmony?
If your sound bar is connected to your Mi Box, or TV to sound bar than just add Mi Box volume to your Harmony.
