what device you have?
Happens only with cable channel apps I notice - never anything like Hulu or Netflix.
It might be something on the cable co's authentication end (i.e. it's supposed to happen) to make you automatically log out and then in frequently to prevent password sharing or the like.
cable companies are limiting the length of the sign in tokens. there is nothing wrong with your device they are just trying to make sure you stay in their boxes and dont leave log ins active for other people.
happens with the comedy central app. but if i go to the TV provider setting, it'll show the code, and then automatically activate without having to actually type anything
I have a couple MiBoxes and a couple Rokus, and this happens pretty consistently on all four devices.
Yup. Happens on my Sony TV and my shield all the time. I really think Android needs a service like apple that logs you in and keeps you logged in to those TV services.
