Look in the main thread about the update on this subreddit. I think it's a universal (or near universal) issue.
Your description's vague so I can only guess that you're having the same issue that the rest of us have: music you've uploaded from your own collection won't play if you try to pick an album, artist or playlist. I think playing music from Google's own library on a subscription works ok.
Doesn't look like it's fixable in this release so expect an update soon as this was a pretty embarrassing one for the team to miss.
Try unsyncing and then resyncing your GPM account.
What update are we talking?
