I don't see any apps that does Usteam. I thought I did, but it was for a show on Ustream. I'm actually surprised they don't have an app here.
Maybe try Kodi. I'm sure there is probably a repo with Ustream. If you never used it, check out YouTube on how to set it up (There is a really good video about setting it up but I can't remember her name. I you have trouble I'll look and post it for you).
For downvoting, don't worry about that. It means nothing and generally there are a handful of people that do it for stupid reasons. Later on you might get some upvotes by people (I upvoted this because it's on topic and a useful question to others).
It's like a YouTube video of puppies or soldiers surprising their children getting 100,000 likes and somehow 10 dislikes. There is always "those" people where ever you go.
Oh, and put the hardware inside the question, not the title. I find that sometimes this sub gets fanboys/fangirls who will downvote because they see "Shield" or "Mi Box" (usually the Mi Box). It won't be bad for a while and then a stream of them come (I imagine school vacation).
