I have a mibox I just bought and bought the ugreen ethernet adapter recommended by mibox users. I'm still having buffering with perfect player. Any recommendations?

Some Android TV apps seem to have buffering problems regardless how your Ethernet is connect to your MiBox.
I'd love some help here as well. I'm not sure if it's the box in general as it buffers a fair bit with WiFi, but this week even with 2 factory resets, it's become nearly unusable.
Kodi and YouTube are really all I'm using. I'm only set for 1080p Max but even on lower quality it's just terrible.
I'm using ugreen too. I find YouTube works well with pretty much no buffering. Kodi is source dependant and if you find a good server than it runs without buffering. I use Vue too and that only buffers on certain channels and generally on popular live shows.
Point being if it isn't your internet, it is probably the servers on the other end. Not much you can do about that other than find a better server if using Kodi.
You can also try changing the DNS to Google's DNS on the Mi Box or on your router. That can help some people with ISP's that use poor DNS.
Have you tried changing decoder settings?
Did you reboot your router? I have both of mine connected via the ugreen usb 3.0 adapters, and have no issues playing anything on them.
Speedtest I was getting 250 mbps on a 500 mbps connection which is plenty for several 4k streams at once.
Maybe turn off QoS on your router as that can limit the bandwidth for video streams.
FWIW: I just bought the official Mi Box adapter which I found for $10. Couldn't be happier. Been really smooth for 3 weeks now.
Mainly use Emby, YouTube, and Amazon.
