Is this even possible? I only found a PS1 emulator. I've been planning to buy 2 BT gamepads to play PS2 games but if there is no stable PS2 emulator I may only buy one.

PS2 might be a bit of a task for the MiBox. Even though the minimum (even the recommended) system requirements are pretty low for most PS2 emulators, emulation is a tough process, the more power you have, the better. There's one thats called New Playstation 2 Emulator, which sounds like a virus in disguise, but appears to be legit, and there's another one called Play! so there's at least two options available on the Play Store, but your mileage will very definitely vary title to title.
The best advice I can give you is to keep your expectations low, and don't get super agitated when stuff doesn't flawlessly out of the box (or even after tweaking). All of this stuff is done by people in their spare time for free, and even with the best people in the world working on it with an endless budget, its highly likely that emulation wouldn't exactly be 100% functioning, as a lot of this boils down to roadblocks from the companies who made the products, and limitations in software and hardware.
Good luck!
No, it isn't, especially not on the Mi Box.
If you want to emulate the PS2 you have to go down the PC route and even there PCSX2 is a jumbled mess that was build upon a mess of code.
While it works, you will run into a lot of games that all need different settings and what not, it's really annoying.
Get yourself a PS2 with a component cable, load up FBMC and an HDD and go at it.
