4k, Ethernet, nice remote....if this price is right I could be swayed to pickup a subscription to DTV Now to grab one.
Wonder if they will only sell to Direct customers though. Like will I be able to walk in to Best buy and pick one up? Or only through DTV Now?
You fucking stole my 1080, bought you another and then you opened a eBay case don't fucking message me on here use the damn open eBay case that I suddenly owe $430 for.
If this ends up being AT&T's answer to Direct TV Now for Android and forgo releasing an Android TV app then i guess I'll have to buy a box, or buy a Roku or tv with Roku built in to use DirectTV Now... Here's to hoping they release an Android TV app so us shield owners don't have to invest or reinvest in more equipment..
8GB storage. Pass.
And this is how you give me a boner.
I guess I fail to see the point besides another option to the Mi Box or Shield TV. In that regard its great, but I guess I just don't see the need to throw DirectTV branding behind it unless they intend to bake DirecTV now into the OS. Otherwise, an Android TV app is all that's needed.
Pricing is another thing. This cant really be much more than $100ish otherwise its starting to get into Shield TV territory
I suppose that means DirecTV NOW will be coming to Android TV soon-ish then...but cool. Very cool.
