Hi,
I have a network tuner that gives me an m3u playlist with RTSP streams. Unforunately neither Cumulus TV nor TVIRL support RTSP streams (EPG however is working).
Does anybody now an app that supports it. It would be nice if it is integrated in live channels.
The playlist looks like this

I work for a company that manufactures audio/video security equipment and one of our products supports RTSP and Onvif. IP Cam works fine with RTSP, while this was tested on a Android tablet, shouldn't be any different on Android TV.
Create a text file containing one line with the full rstp:// link. Save it as a file with the extension .strm like test.strm. Transfer it to your Android TV file system. Then under Kodi click on the strm file like you are playing a music file or audio stream. See if Kodi recognizes the link and plays it. I bet it would.
Have you tried "PVR iptv simple client" Kodi inbuilt addon,..?, I am not sure if Kodi can handle rtsp streams or not..
