You'll want a box that runs at least android 5. That one you listed appears to be 4.4.2. You can't run newsest kodi on kit Kat. Unless you get into a kodi fork but I'd recommend looking for something a bit better.
Garbage
Kodi doesn't require anything spectacular to run. Wouldn't any Kodi junkbox work well? If you want an actual recommendation for an Android TV device, then you can either buy the $70 Mi Box or the $180+ Shield TV.
Normally I would suggest the Raspberry Pi3, but the Sunvell is so much cheaper. However the Sunvell looks like Android with a AndroidTV like launcher and a poor one at that. With the Pi3, to make it cheap you need to have a spare 5v 2A phone charger and MicroSDHC card. OpenELEC is what you image onto the MicroSDHC and it basically boots into Kodi, runs on a limited linux distro and has decent support, always updating based on the latest build of Kodi. You'll need a keyboard or mouse to initially configure the Pi3, but once its running, just use your phone or tablet as a remote control.
Kodi sucks, there's lots of apps that do a far better job if all you want to do is watch movies.
Do yourself a favour a ditch all Android Operating System for Kodi use only.
LibreELEC Kodi Krypton on AMLogic S9xx devices is the far superior Kodi setup out of any Hardware you care to choose, and that includes the latest Intel Machines and the NVIDIA Shield.
Such S9xx machines do everything, all you really need to add is a USB Dongle - Plug and Play Wireless remote. With a small bit of research and DIY you can have one Kick Ass Kodi setup.
Kodi Krypton with such a S9xx combo actually works properly no matter what you throw at it. Auto refresh/resolution switching everything once setup and features like deinterlacing for Kodi PVR's and TV viewing and correct colorspace for 4K HDR (S905X & S912) actually works properly vs the Shield, which has a bunch of problems.
Simply have a look in this LE Subforum where you will find a treasure trove on LibreELEC Kodi info:
(start with the Choosing a Box Guide)
The S912 boxes are the fastest and really snappy for Kodi when used with a Wireless remote. :-)
