Woohoo, looking good on my Shields. Slight stutter upon navigation, but still responsive enough. Back button doesn't take you back to Shield home. Need to actually click on Home button to go back to Shield home, and if you have something playing it will keep playing in the background. That's quite different than say, Plex or Netflix, where when you exit the video stops. So far so good.
Compatible with my Sony x810c!
I’m not seeing it yet.
YES!!! Showing available for my Nexus and Shields - Installing to all my TVs now!
Trying it out now... gotta say, its not as bad as I thought it would be. Its nice and smooth. Has a good CC system, SAP options, as well as DVR and rewinding. The live guide system is actually pretty nice too. It's far smoother than Playstation Vue, thats for sure.
Biggest problems however is that it doesn't integrate with Live Channels. There isn't a channel-up/down system... so there isn't an ability to channel surf. Nor can I type in numbers to jump to direct channels like I can on Live Channels.
This will only work for people that live in areas where Youtube TV if offered....correct? I'm asking. I didn't think youtube TV was available to everyone...only people in some major cities in the US. Or does this app allow anyone with a Shield TV to subscribe to Youtube TV now?
"voice actions aren't available for that app." Super disappointed. It works through Chromecast, but not on the Shield with assistant.
Showing as incompatible for me
Says compatible with nexus player as well but not MiBox
Also compatible with my LeEco X55. Installed it on both Shields and the LeEco from the direct link.
Does anyone have the ability to switch accounts to see the shows that were record under a specific account?
looks compatible with the adt-1 on leanback-m
Free trial? Wouldn't mind checking it out on my nexus player. Also can you pay subscription with google play credit not that I'll sub 35 is kinda step
Aaaaaaaand not available in your region.
Initial thoughts are the live guide has potential and I like how the movie section is setup, but the regular guide is too big.
I use PlayStation Vue and the guide is much better. You can pull the guide up and because of favorite channels all your favorite channels are at the beginning of the guide. I don't need a huge thumbnail of the show. I think they could compact the guide to fit more on the screen and add favoriting channels so you can get to the stuff you like quicker.
I see that you can add programs to the DVR/library but you can't "favorite" a channel.
If I can watch the olympics this winter, I’m in. Does the regional Fox Sports show the games, or are they blacked out?
Has anyone tried YouTube TV? How many channels are ther? Does it have a guide? Just bought the Nvidia Shield Pro tonight and will be here in 2 days.I gave up on the Amazon Fire TV Sticks and Fire Tv,their just to slow when you add 3rd party apps with Kodi.
$35 a month? That's too expensive as far as I'm concerned. At that rate I might as well get proper cable TV.
