Mi-box Global automatic resolution refresh fix found

I haven't try the tweak myself but it had been confirmed with several users at the Kodi forum. Sad, it reset with every reboot. unless a permanent solution is found, i not going to try it yet.

why would you wnt to reboot :), mine works 24/7 without any issues now with auto resolution refresh switching

i got this working but it doesnt play stuff with vc1 encoded codec for some reason. but its pretty easy to switch back to old codec for these. resolution refresh switching is working in kodi now so its worth doing the hack.

pro tip: make your mibox just go to sleep instead of powering it off when not in use and the hack will stick!
