Anyone can confirm if any of the Nougat firmwares fixes the ethernet suspend issue? If so, is it worth to update it despite the bugs (the Mi Boxes are pretty much netflix machines, I don't care about HDR and all)?
Also, if Nougat doesn't fix it can I get it working somehow on MM?

I have a pair of TP-UE300, looks like i'll have to throw them away and get UGREEN ones. Using wifi is a no-go because of the coverage.
Does your ethernet disconnect when suspended? What USB ethernet do you have. I use ugreen one that is generally recommended here and never had that problem (I'm not on the beta).
The only time I have an issue is when there is an internet outage or I reset the router and once it comes back I have to restart the Mi Box to auto-connect.
honestly the best fix for me was to quit using ethernet and use only wifi. much better behavior that way
