Hey all. I have a Sony Bravia with Android tv that hasn't had casting working since I tried casting from VLC in a Windows machine weeks ago. I've force stopped the cast app. Cleared cache. Cleared data. Shut down restarted.
Is there another app that I can try those things in to make this work.
The picture is of what background I get now instead of Google cast.
Update, I've got the Chromecast background working again. It's the daydream tile in settings. I selected run now then backed out, 5 min later it came up with no issue and seems to be working. BUT casting to the Android TV still hasn't worked after resets and shut downs.... Factory reset here I come?
Anyone know where favorite reset is? There is an option for "factory reset data" Is that the same thing? It another option else where
Restart the computer you casted vlc from originally & also unplug your TV for 3 minutes & then plug 🔌 it back in & turn on.... Wait 3 minutes & try it again.
