Pardon my ignorance... it says Plex for Android 6.9.0 Is that the same as AndroidTV?

hmmm..got "plex isn't available in your country" error when I tried from home screen
but then I got the assistant to open plex and then said "play xxxxxxx" and it opened it..weird
How about official Google home support? I mean Phlex TV works too, but that requires you to run a little server
Anyone with a MiBox get this to work (might have to install the Google 6 APK).
I haven't seen it working yet on my tv. don't you need to add it to the Videos & Photos section of Google Assistant settings? like where Netflix is?
I was trying to use this last night to play a specific movie and it wouldn't do it. Seems very limited for the time being.
Also, I'm sure it'll have the same limitations as Plex & Echo integrations where it can't be used with the various managed users in Plex. I don't need it defaulting Plex to my admin account where it'll show R rated movie posters on the Android TV home screen for my kids to see.... (and, no, I'm not turning that feature off on the Android TV settings)
Too many limitations and not enough benefits yet. Hopefully it'll get there.
Meh. I wasn't happy with how Plex and AndroidTV handled media so I abandoned it.
My external HDD would randomly spin up even when all storage permissions were denied.
Plex would constantly crash or have issues too.
I'd love to actually be able to use my shield TV as a media player and server but between Plex and Android there are too many issues.
Anyone have any useful commands working? All I have is "play a specific movie/tv show" and "play next episode" and pause.
Tv show command kinda sucks because it plays the first episode in the series no matter what.
