Try Windows key, any time I accidentally hit that on my mini keyboard on my Mi Box it brings up the listening prompt
I use multilanguage keymap redefiner to remap buttons on my firetv remote, it's a sideload apk. You have to set this as your default keyboard and then it should let you remap a key on your keyboard for voice search. Not sure how good it would work for voice search but you can give it at try. Let me know how it works if you do try.
