Tried this StopAd app, it's basically a really basic, stripped down ad-blocker & doesn't block encrypted in-app ads without root, just like the rest of them.
Uninstalled immediately after testing.
DNS66 is still the goto on all my devices.

Where would I even get ads from? I’ve had my Shield since the gen2 came out and I can’t recall anything that I use giving me ads aside from YouTube maybe...what would I really need an ad blocker for?
