Audio-Video Lag with MiBox3

This issue appears to have been mentioned before, not only here but in other forums, yet I have yet to see a solution.

To describe the issue: in all applications, from Netflix to YouTube to Hulu, there is a very noticeable lag between what is on the screen and what come out of my speakers. This occurs no matter if it's the built-in speakers on my television, or if it's my Vizio soundbar system. Changing audio settings does not help in the slightest. I estimate the lag to be about 1-1.5 seconds between the sound playing and the video catching up.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, have you found a way to fix it?

How is your internet connection? I'm assuming you are going wireless too, maybe change the band and/or channel. Or you can hardwire it (USB). It probably isn't a hardware issue.

I noticed it with Netflix. When that happens, I'll have to shutdown the MiBOX, leave it rest a bit (a couple of minutes) and then turn it on again. Edit: Others tell that rebooting fixes the issue and that it happens since a recent Netflix issue, although in your case it happens with all media apps.
