HdHomerun app broken after app update on Shield TV

As above, app is now crashing on any Hd channels after i updated it and is only giving audio on SD channels. Has anyone else experienced similar? I'm in the UK. I went to uninstall updates but i seem to have uninstalled they whole app. I use the shield as my DVD server, does that mean i may have lost all my recordings?

I also cant get into the menu on HDhomerun app to re-add my hard drive, it used to be pressing pause 10 times or so to get into the menu?

A reboot has fixed it. I did lose my recordings however. Now might be the time to factory reset to try and fix my problem of Amazon video not working

I'll be honest, this is one good reason why I wouldn't use the native Live Channels recording for any sort of long term storage. Simply too vulnerable.

This is why I moved to Tablo. Honestly, things have just been too finicky with the HD Homerun.

Tablo has been flawless and they just released a new native app for Android TV.
