I just use a raspberry pi 3 with LibreElec and tvheadend and a USB tuner, then use either kodi or live channels (with the tvh app from playstore) on the shield. Works well
Live Channels app supports DVR. You'll also need to pick up a dual-tuner USB adapter: http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_dualhd.html
