Does anyone have any experience pairing an AirTV remote with a 2017 Shield TV? The AirTV is an Android TV box and the remote is Bluetooth. Without getting my hands on one, if it pairs correctly it may be a decent alternative. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
I did this a few weeks back. It worked decently if you paired the TV/volume functions using an AirTV first otherwise no obvious way to program on a Shield. Guide button actually launches Live Channels but Favorites/Info were dead. IIRC the Sling button worked for home and diamond did nothing, it could have been the other way around though. Netflix and Google buttons also dead but microphone launched Google Assistant. I decided it wasn't worth keeping...
