I also submitted to r/ShieldAndroidTV. Shield boots to Nvidia logo and nothing else. Recovery partition was erased. I assume nothing really can be done but any chance there is a way to get into something to deploy a recovery image? Thank you!!

The first shield I purchased had bluetooth crap out after a few months. I contacted nVidia and they were super easy to deal with.
I troubleshooted with them for about an hour I'd say, but after we tried everything they just sent me a new one and told me to send the broken one back in the same box.
I'd suggest just contacting them unless you're comfortable flashing a new image
I will buy it for 10 dollars
But hey whatever dumb shit tweak you were trying to do would totally have been worth it.
You should be able to put it into fastboot mode and flash a new image. I can't really give you instructions, right now, but I'm sure you can find a good step-by-step guide with google.
