youtube has tons of karaoke tracks.
Similar objective as you. I did buy a microphone (wired). There are KTV apps for mobile that do the job using built-in mic. Recently I tried to install one (changba) but it wouldn't on the AndroidTV as I guess it detects it's not a phone). No time after that to try other apps...
Free alternative has been to use the screen mirroring from my phone to the TV. It plays well the songs and display.
Earlier versions of Kodi had CD+G karaoke playback. The latest couple versions (16 and 17) don't. The version ofkodi that does have karaoke playback is excellent.
Alternately, there is a karaoke addon for Kodi that negates the need to have it built in. It's like an exodus/covenant addon except for karaoke playback.
For other karaoke songs my wife and I would just search YouTube e.g. "songname karaoke"
I never figured out a mic playback solution though for Android TV. My karaoke rig is a NUC with windows 10.
If you feed your TV audio to a receiver you can get a karaoke mixer to sit in between them, negating the need for USB microphone (besides, usb mic introduces a tiny bit of lag which takes some getting used to)
