I'm pretty sure the Nintendo Switch runs on a variant of the Tegra X1. I wonder if that means that the Wii ports will come to the Switch as well.

The better news would be the Nintendo Switch running Android TV making it a real second gen Shield.
Or just buy a used Wii console for $50, run the photobomb exploit and install Homebrew channel, then WiiFlow, Nintendont, etc. Only drawback? Stuck in 480p mode.
it's not clear, are these emulated or actual ports? also what's this about popular PC games? The shield doesn't actually run PC games, it streams them IF you have a GTX video card

My gut tells me that the Shield TV will no longer be running Android, but another *nix derivative in an attempt to prevent piracy.
What is the reason behind this decision by nintendo? Why sell nintendo games on non nintendo hardware there? They seem very against doing that ussually.
Looks like it's China exclusive but it won't stop me from hunting down any leaked apk's
