Hi,
since yesterday the microphone of my Shield Remote (2015) is no longer working. It's only grabbing the first word and only when I'm shouting directly in the mic.
Has anybody else has this problem and knows how to solve it? I hope it's not a hardware defect.
I've had problems since the last major system update. The one on the game controller always works great, but the small remote is flakey. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I have to press once to activate google assistant, then again when google starts listening. Everything on mine is up to date as far as I can tell.
Mine stopped working about 6 months ago.....real bummer. I even bought a USB camera/microphone and it won't work unless the remote is unpaired. I refuse to spend $50 for a replacement (1/3 the cost of Shield with remote is ridiculous).
