Philips tv’s are a mixed bag. I own the 7 series 49 and I’m ok with it. Black levels are iffy and light bleed is prominent. :/ if you can check it out in a store :)
most Philips TVs have a high INPUTLAG so it may be inconvenient to play PS4 or Xbox
I am happy with my TV, it gets regular updates. You can see in my flair what I have. Your question is too generic, what are you looking for exactly?
Things I would change:
Get rid of the Netflix button on the remote or make it configurable
Allow the Android TV background screensaver to function
More storage (16gb instead of 8gb)
Make the screen off music Ambilight actually react to the music lol
If it's the TV with the best picture quality for your budget, then buy it.
