Those channels that appear there are temporary, they'll disappear/reset when you fully close the Live Channels app.
Altho, I'm not sure about TVirl because where it's located is where PlutoTV always shows up on my Shield & SO's Mi Box.
So it's likely going to be there til replaced by another compatible app install or you ditch said app.
Sadly there is no way unless the developer changes the icon to TVirl to transparent. slightly off topic but where do you get your EPG to give you thumbnails of the programme on?
Downgrade to Nougat ;)
Uninstalling will remove it.
Jeeze i wish there was way more customisation for live channels.
getting rid of the small source icon, making the EPG fullscreen, enlarging channel logo's and text etc etc
