Does anyone know if the Amazon Prime Video app works on the Mi Box?
I'm eyeing it as an affordable Android TV option but I need that app.

It’s not available from the store yet but there’s an APK floating around that works perfectly if you sideload.
The official app will come soon. There is however non official ways to get it on the mi box this. Tutorials are on YouTube. Saw someone say get the new fire device. They are great but not "real" android tv and you will be limited on what you can do.
the apk that works with mibox isnt perfect at all.. after watching a movie or an episode you need to exit from the prime app and then you can select an episode so that it will play properly. if you dont do that then you'll only get a blank screen with audio playing from the background.
You know the new Fire TV is almost identical to the MiBox, right?
It was announced a short while ago that AP was coming to Android TV but it's not available yet. Soon I hope.
