I currently have an MI box which I found on ebay. Not sure if there are knock off versions of this out there or not. I know I can grab a shield at my local Walmart but it's outta my price range of $300. How do I know which ones on ebay are real and which are knock offs?
i dont believe there are knock off version of mibox, however they have a chinese version and a international version. International version have a model # MDZ-16-AB. I bought mine from lightinthebox.com, currently it retails for $90 CAD or if you dont want to wait for 2 weeks shipping time. i believe canada computers sells them as well/

Surely you can grab a Mi off Amazon or ebay or something and have it shipped? Depending on what you want to do AppleTV is now actually my preferred choice over a shield (sacrilege I know)
