Should I upgrade my MiBox from MM to the latest N beta?

I'm actually really happy with my MiBox, had it for about a year and it works great for more or less everything. But I'm daily fighting the urge to upgrade it, as I'm really bored with the current MM build. It's just so boring, I can't remember last time I had a device that was never updated.

I mainly use my box for Kodi, Spotify and Netflix (no HDR or 4K). I think I've seen like two youtube videos on it, in total.

How many here are running the latest N build on your box, and would you upgrade if you were me?

I did, and since it's not easy to downgrade properly and it's not bug-free (for example sometimes a mouse cursor flashes on mine) I'd say no, do not upgrade until it's made official and pushed through OTA

There's no real reason for it. If you go for it, than I can only recommend build 1428. I tried them all and downgraded back to MM too. Staying now with 1428, as everything works write well. MM is said to have all 4 CPU cores running, while nougat builds are forced to 2 or 3 cores...

I'm still on 6.0 because 7.0 brings nothing I'd want to use except bug fixes which I can wait for the final for that. So I'm sticking with stock.

And there's no other ROMs to choose from other than the beta nougat and the original retail?

Absolutely. The latest Android 7.0 nougat runs without issue on mine.
