Will struggle with anything over about 60mbit in my experience unless using a USB drive. I have a few 4k which need around 95 to 100mbit continuous. Those are unwatchable for me over the wifi with the mi box through all methods I can think of. I wouldn't rule out a better dedicated router as a possible solution, but a hardwired shield would be cheaper at that point. HDR only works on the nougat beta in Netflix afaik. The mi box is an OK single TV 1080p player, everything gets dicey when 4k is introduced especially true high bitrate 4k
Mi Box can't do HDR yet. Supposed to come with the Nougat update. 4k 10bit 60 fps is pushing it for this box. If your movies are all in that format, buy a shield instead.
