Was looking to be able to tell the shield a few remote control commands like "volume up" (using amp over cec) "homepage" "back"... using Google assitant on phone or GH. This is possible using anymote app and iftt on your phone. Here is how to do it: download anymote and set it to find an android TV device, next head to iftt app and create an applet that will suit your need. you create a trigger with Google assitant and an action by anymote. Et voilà. It's still not perfect but fun. I believe there is another (and better) possibility using tasker, autovoice (and natural language option) but haven't tested it yet.
