I have a LeEco Super 4 and I don't think I'll be getting any more updates on that. It is still on marshmallow. Is there a way I can flash nougat/oreo firmware?
Thanks!

Found this Leeco Super TV Update EUI 6.0| Leeco tv update| Official update| super series 3,4 on YouTube.
It's better to leave it like that, if something wrong you won't even get support from the closed company.
Its not easy to port a rom for your tv :) to upgrade to nougat/ oreo
Welcome to Android in a nutshell. Unless you own a Pixel don't expect any long-term support whatsoever.
Only if someone has created a ROM for your device. And you'll need to root.
I would love to see this happen as well but don't expect it to come from LeEco. They released their source for the TV's so that may give some help to anyone brave enough to try and make a rom for it, but seeing how it looks as no one is trying the android 6 source may not be that much help.
It is closed in US but not in China. So Technically this TV still receive new ROMs. However China ROMs suck for most people in the US. You will lose Netflix and maybe Chromecast. You need some skills to get back Youtube and Google Play. It does offer something better than US ROM. For example, the US ROM has a poor HDR playback quality which reportedly fixed by China ROMs. So if you use Plex and Kodi often to play HDR content, it might suit you to upgrade to China ROM. It is also rooted so you can remove bloats.
I am actually in the same boat as you. Currently there are no ROMs for this line of TVs. Someone might come along and make a custom ROM like they had with the Super3 tv, but we'll have to wait and see.
