Tv Box Boot Loop

by SSBMKaiser

I have a Android TV box, a "NexBox A95X" it was for over a month without use and today I was about to use it and it started "optimizing applications" but every time it's about to finish it reboots and goes through the same process again, I was doing some research, looks like it's not super uncommon on Android devices but people just go through recovery mode and factory reset the phone or restore from a SD with a back up... Well, there's no way for me to go to the recovery menu o the Box since it has no buttons... Is there any way to solve this?

This sub isn't for boxes that run the regular touchscreen version of Android. We discuss devices that run the official Android TV operating system. This OS was designed by Google to run on living room consoles that operate via a remote for input.

As with most generic, undifferentiated, compilation of random parts devices, the reset switch is usually hidden inside the socket marked A/V. Such reset is normally a thin metal lever that you can reach using a paper clip or toothpick. Carefully depress this switch while plugging in power socket. Ultimately you will see the Android guy with a recovery menu. Follow onscreen menu.
