Hey Friendos. Wondering whether there is a gamepad or set of gamepads that are supported natively by Nougat. Specifically I have a Nebula Capsule (Android 7.1) and I’m trying to connect a couple gamepads to it for simple gaming with friends. Bluetooth preferred if possible. I’ve already tried and failed to get a DS4 working properly. Any advice appreciated!
The Dualshock 4 can be a pain to get working over Bluetooth though it should work via a USB cable.
If you're looking to buy a new controller, any controller that says it supports Android should work. Gamesir and 8bitdo tend to be popular at the higher end of the price range while iPega is popular at the lower end.
If you act quickly the GameSir T1 is on sale for $25 for the next half hour on Amazon . It has a mount for a phone but you don't need to use it.
