Having problems with internet !

by arbiass

Hello, I bought a Fox TV with android installed, not a known brand I know but my question is will the likes like samsung, philips, sony will make a difference in internet connection? I have a good internet connection (20mpbs) but I can’t stream any thing from web and it’s always on buffering even on Netflix app I have to wait for the video to buffer. I read somewhere on internet that might be the RAM (1gb) small for streams to buffer, now I’m not sure if I return this TV back and get some known brand will fix this issue! If any of you could give me a clear advice on what to do I would highly appreciate it, thanks.

If no other device has problems with your internet connection then I would assume the TV is the problem.

Are you using wifi or are you connected through Ethernet

If that's the case that both wifi and Ethernet are terrible while you have a good connection:, the weak oink is the TV. And the only way to fix that is to get another TV... I have a Samsung Ks8000 and don't have trouble with either Ethernet or wifi to the TV. Although I prefer using Ethernet. So depending on what kind of TV you are after, use cases, budget and all that I'm sure people here can recommend a good TV for you. Edit: perhaps checkout r/hometheatre and they can help you with choosing a better TV.
