Way to have Movies and TV "drives" exist on same drive?

by scoobysnatcher

I'm new to SPMC/Kodi/etc, so forgive me if this is a stupid simple question. I'm connecting USB drives to my Shield TV to play my library of Movies and TV. I previously had two drives connected -- one for Movies and one for TV -- which made it straightforward to select what was on each drive so the scraping service could create my library. I just bought an 8TB WD easystore, since they're on sale at Best Buy right now, and would like to consolidate everything to just that drive. Within Kodi, can I assign part of that WD drive as Movies and part of it as TV, so the scraper will properly handle it?

Put the movies in a folder called "Movies" and the TV shows in a folder called "TV Shows".

Archos Media Player doesn't require separating your content. It just works.
