Hardware don't mean shit if the software is crap.
I wouldn't get a Chinese box but do your research on the Mibox before committing to it. I ended up ditching it for shield because it frustrated me so much.
Mi Box. For streaming it is plenty powerful and you don't need marketing specs. It also has AndroidTV. The cheap ones use the phone's Android that uses touchscreen operation or a Wii controller type air remote (a pain in the ass).
Mibox. It does have problems, but it is better supported than any Chinese box, works fine with H265 and is more powerful than most generic boxes, it does struggle with 4K but 1080p is perfect. Afaik only the shield is ok with 4K.
What do plan to use it for? The only AndroidTV box that actually gets updates and works with everything is the Shield. The Chinese boxes are fine if you only want to do Kodi or use media players and web browsers.
Mi box because it's legit Android TV and works great
Don't get a Chinese box look around and see what other legit options there are.
