I suppose you mean you want to press a button on some sort of universal remote and have say the red one launch Netflix, the green one launch Hulu and so on? I haven't looked in to this yet but seeing how manufacturer specific boxes can do it (sling TV Android TV box for example) it is possible but I would guess it requires special coding tied to a special remote.

For example I would like to open kodi by pressing a button and then maybe the TV programme by pressing another button
