Is this possible to do? I would prefer to use the HDHR app channel sources instead of network tuner beta (its kind of buggy, weak signal, etc).

Go to settings-apps-Live Channels, then clear data and cache. Next time you open it you can rerun setup.
Just don't search for channels?
When you go into settings for the app, you should see the ability to uncheck sources. Uncheck the network tuner source and you should be good. I did the same thing and have had no issues since.
