I've used some usb remotes on my shield but never used them on a pc yet. Is this even the right place to ask or should I ask in a windows or casting reddit?
I want to cast from bed without needing to click anything on my pc.

This would require some doing & probably attaching a USB dongle to the PC then assigning a casting hotkey to one of the remote buttons, if there is even a casting hotkey on a PC for casting. But then the remote would have to use IR too since the dongle would be attached to the PC.
Basically a big mess all to do something your phone can do simply. :)
