Ugh really? I had Comcast until a month ago and my HBOGo login worked on my XBox 360. They gimped it to not work on Android TV? I switched to DirecTVNow and their HBO sub works fine with it. Man the second I get a decent second option I'm ditching Comcast internet too.
Just wanted to say that I recently discovered this myself, and I'm livid with Comcast. There is zero reason they do this other than greed.
yup...and not that I know of....I use airplay to make it work on my Shield.
I've just gotten habitual to casting. I actually like it if I've to search for something. Typing on TV app is horrible.
I don't use Comcast, but if you have an Android phone, you should be able to log in to HBO Go on there and cast to your Android TV device.
I've installed from here (try both but it might be the NON-TV version) and chrome to my tv . Used mouse and keyboard to log in and it works. I have the same internet package . The app requires mouse and it's buggy.
No. Fuck Comcast. This is why I switched to HBO Now.
