Well, there doesn't appear to be a native Android TV app for the new CBS Sports HQ live service. As far as I can tell, it requires casting or using the Puffin Browser to http://cbssports.com/live . Puffin works pretty well though.

In Fire TV the 'CBS Sports App' will get the option for CBS Sports HQ. Because both Fire TV and Android TV apps are the same, most likely the HQ option will appear on the CBS Sports on Android TV also.
"CBS Sports HQ will be available on CBSSports.com, CBSN and the CBS All Access subscription service. It will also be available on the CBS Sports app for connected TV devices including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Roku, as well as the CBS Sports mobile app for iOS and Android."

Almost forgot, I'll test out the CBS All Access too, back in a few minutes.
UPDATE: I tested both apps and none had a CBS Sports HQ Livestream, the CBS Sports App had a videos with a CBS Sports HQ logo, I tried to play one and the video froze while the progress bar continued, bad look for CBS.
