I downloaded the ABC app but it doesn't seem to have a live stream section. I also have DirectTV Now, which does not have broadcast channels in my area, anyone have a suggestion on how to get a live stream on, is there a US TV now Android tv app?

Use Kodi and the USTVNow add-in.
Location faker has worked for me for Directv Now. Have you given it a try?
