Hi
I just got his cheap box : Bqeel AX9 MAX
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07796ZBYL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
in the description it says it supports 4K @ 60 fps, but it only show 4K @ 30 fps in the screen resolution menu....
is there something to be done ? is there some kind of hack ?
Also, is it possible that the box automatically outputs the correct Hertz frequency depending on the movie file ? For example 24hz for a movie...
Thanks
That is not an Android TV box. It is just a box that uses the same Android found in phones and tablets, reskinned to make it more remote friendly.
Have you checked if your TV supports HDMI 2.0? The box description states it has HDMI 2.0 so it should be able to output it, but if the TV doesn't have that then you'll be limited to 4K @ 30Hz. I can't actually see anything in the reviews about the actual HDMI version it uses though, pretty rare for a cheap box to have HDMI 2.0.
