Just downloaded both Chrome and Firefox for my Mi Box to try it out. First thing I want to do is to be able to do a full-screen without showing anything of the browser. I cannot find any settings for this?
Next thing I noticed is that I went to a site I own which is made specifically for a 1080p device. But when I visited this site it did not display it correctly, it was displayed as the resolution was 720p. I checked my settings, and they are set to 1080p.
Is there a limit set to both Firefox and Chrome that is 720p?

Don't think it's possible, you have to remember they're not designed for big screen use, but mainly for mobile.
Not sure for Chrome, but for Firefox if you go to about:config and search "viewport" there's a desktop width option, change that value to 1920, restart the browser and it should set it to 1080p.
