Nvidia Shield TV Pro (2015) won't turn on.

Question

Earlier today my Nvidia Shield suddenly just switched off.

It was on the home screen menu. No update had been going on and I wasn't using it to watch anything at that time. I had stepped outside to do something and when I came back in the unit was off.

I tried unplugging the power supply and waited for a while to plug it back in. But that didn't help. The device just will not respond.

I've had this since September 2016, and up today has worked great. Any ideas as to what I can try? Maybe seek out a new power supply?

I had two 2015 pro's that had faulty hard drives and wouldn't boot.  Luckily it was within the first year of purchasing and Nvidia replaced them.  Might be worth contacting Nvidia support

Check the voltage on your power supply.  I have had two go on me within 6 months.  One was just putting out 10V.  Was enough to turn the light on but wouldn't boot it.
